Syncing Shadows Tattoo Booking
FAQs
-
I am in Corsicana, Texas until early December.
-
My books are currently open. I am in Texas until early December. Feel free to send preferred dates. For bigger or custom work the earlier you reach out the better.
-
I charge per piece, so you will know the cost upfront. If you change your mind on the position or size of tattoo on the day will talk through any changes to cost before starting.
-
Tattoos are priced per piece. All tattoos require a $50 deposit, which goes towards the final price and holds your date, it can be paid by Venmo or PayPal. The remaining can be paid by those methods too, however cash is preferable! Tipping is never required but always appreciated.
-
I have a number of flash designs, a number of these are on IG and often customizable. I am also happy to work on custom pieces if they are within my style of tattooing.
My preferences are delicately stippled flora and fauna in a traditional illustrative style as well as bolder neo tribal / ornamental gradient blackwork.

Get a good night's sleep and eat a proper meal beforehand. Being tattooed takes a lot of energy, so you want some in the tank before we begin. For longer sessions, bring snacks and drinks and we'll take breaks as needed.
-
During your session we'll talk through which aftercare suits you best, either air care or second skin. It depends on placement, lifestyle, work and any skin sensitivities.
Option 1: Air care (no second skin)
Keep it clean. Treat it like any fresh wound. If it gets sweaty or dirty, wash it as soon as you can.
First wash. The morning after, you may find some ooze or stickiness. Wash it off in the shower with warm water and unscented soap. Be thorough, because leftover ooze can turn into heavy scabbing, your tattoo won't wash away.
Let it dry. For the next couple of days, wash it morning and evening and let it air dry.
Moisturize lightly. After a couple of days, start applying a thin layer of unscented moisturizer ([your preference, I like cocoa butter & hemp oil]) to keep it from drying out and forming large scabs. Always wash first, so you're not layering fresh product over old.
Option 2: Second skin
Remove the first layer. Take off the second skin I applied 24-48 hours after your session. Do it in the shower with water running over it, and peel slowly, pulling close to the skin rather than away from it.
Wash. Same as wash step above.
Apply a new layer. Let the tattoo dry fully and skip lotion. Peel the white backing from a fresh sheet and smooth it on without air bubbles (ask someone to help if it's in a hard spot). Peel off checkered top layer from orange arrows. Leave it for 3-5 days.
Remove it the same way as before.
For both:
Don't pick or scratch, even when it itches or flakes.
No soaking in baths, pools, hot tubs or the sea until it's fully healed.
Wear loose clothing over the area and keep it out of direct sun while it heals.
Once healed, use sunscreen on it for life. It's the best way to keep your tattoo looking good.
If you have any queries or questions or you’re not sure if it’s healing properly, email me and I will help you.

Yes, I'm open to guest spots. I'll post any upcoming dates on Instagram and in Where are you based? above.
If you run or work at a shop and would like to host me, please get in touch. A short note saying hi, your location and what dates might work is perfect. Feel free to use the booking form above or DM.
If you're in a city I don't currently visit, let me know where you are. When I plan guest spots, I take notice of where there's interest.
Thank you!
